Drum

In 1659, Pieter Hemony cast this copper drum which is still used in the carillon. It was made to play
40 bells and l7600 square holes had to be accurately filed and drilled in the drum. Every two years, just
before Easter Sunday, the melody of the chiming bells is changed.
